What's the best type of phone for me?

My LG Keybo is toast, it wont even turn on. The best way for me to get a new phone is to buy a refurbished one ( i really don't mind if a phone has been used, only if it's been damaged in any sort of way ) and transfer everything over. This will cost about $25 - $30. My provider now is Koodo, and i'm planning on staying with it. I really did grow attached to my Keybo, because of it's large Qwerty keyboard, and ease of use. Is There another phone similar that would be good? The reason I don't want an LG Keybo is because my boyfriend had the LG Keybo 2, and we just broke up, and for some reason i associate that phone with him? idk, for some reason, i dont like the phone as much. is there another phone ( not a blackberry! ) with a large qwerty keyboard and no touch screen that i might like?
