Is my friendship over because of my baby?

The other night, my wife and I thought it would be a good idea to invite a childhood friend of mine over along with his wife and kid. Once they came I noticed that both of our babies were wearing the same dress. Both of our wives were laughing about it like it was some joke, and to my surprise my friend joined them. I later took my friend outside and I brought up the issue. He told me that it was no big deal. I just thought to myself "NO BIG DEAL!" and so I sucker punched him right in the face. Before he could ask me what I was doing, I ran back inside, and locked the door with him outside. He was banging on the door, but it was too quiet for anyone else to hear. I walked over to my wife and his wife and I brought up the babies. His wife was holding it in her hands so I looked at the baby and smiled. Then I said "What a shame our kids are going to live in this awful world with cellphones that give you brain cancer!" They both started laughing, then I pulled out my phone, pressed it up against their baby's head and shouted "BRAIN CANCER! BRAIN CANCER!" The baby was sitting there waving it's arms giggling. My wife told me that was inappropriate, so I ran over to the baby and started yelling at it. I told it that it had no right to be in my house! That it was a gross little tub of fat that makes me sick to look at. At that moment my friends wife got mad at me. Then I told her that her husband was outside, and that they both had to leave. Why is my friend so immature? How can I forgive him? How should I punish their baby?
