"Sucker Punch" the movie was diappointing?

one of the girls was shot in front of everyone else ( no one tried to stop it) and another was stabbed and no one cares but when the same guy tried to rape another girl suddenly the police started to care ( came in the last minute) so what is the point of the movie, bad guys wins and poor girls die?
